.. Pam is soft-spoken and listens to your needs and desires before making observations and suggestions. If you are selling, she has a process that she follows which has proven to be successful. She will familiarize herself with your property, both inside and outside. Her current market analysis will give you a good idea of relative worth of your property and suggest a range of listing prices. She will very expertly photograph your property, inside and outside, and from above. She will then create a webpage offering your property to the public. After holding an open house, she will work with you to schedule showings and collect offers. You will thank your lucky stars that you selected Pam to represent you with this experience.

I subsequently engaged her as a buyer’s agent to guide my search for a suitable recreational property in Maine. Unfortunately, family issues prevented me from following through in 2021. Regrettably, Pam and I never had the opportunity to meet in person, though we spent significant time on the phone together. It’s worth noting that, despite my withdrawal from the Maine realty scene, last fall Pam sent me a listing that she thought might suit my needs. Although I appreciated the gesture, I was in no position to act, however. Feeling slightly less encumbered early in 2022, I once again called Pam to discuss a couple of listings I had noticed on [another] website. That conversation led to a new contractual relationship. A fairly intense partnership ensued. Pam worked hard and we both experienced a series of highs and lows, but our efforts failed to bring us to a closing, at least initially. Though Pam’s performance had been everything I could have expected, my experience left me disappointed and somewhat ambivalent about continuing my pursuit of a property. Pam gave me the space I needed and didn’t push. A couple of weeks later she sent me a link to the property I would eventually buy, which was newly listed. Her email simply said, “I wasn’t sure if this would be of interest.” She didn’t push; there wasn’t any sales pitch. She knew where I was emotionally and respected my state of mind. Pam very gently placed the ball in my court and left any further action up to me. As with the previous property, Pam very ably guided me through the process. When a concern cropped up, she promptly found an answer or a solution; if I needed a resource, Pam put me in touch with someone who could help. I felt that the two of us became an actual team, although the burden of labor fell disproportionately on her. Through it all, I’ve found Pam to be honest, knowledgeable and professional. She has a calm, quiet demeanor that is rooted in competence and concern for her client. That’s in contrast to many agents I’ve dealt with over the years who seem to focus on salesmanship and often project a phony façade. Pam has always responded to my questions and requests for additional information or guidance promptly and with purpose, as if I’m the only person with whom she’s working, though that’s clearly not the case in the present market. There was nothing simple about finding the right place for my husband Geoff and I.
